Shipping & Delivery Policy

ASVA Transport Solutions (OPC) Private Limited provides land goods transportation and logistics services, and the supply and installation of GPS/telematics hardware. We are a transport service provider — we are not a product e-commerce store, so this Policy governs the movement of your goods and the scheduling of on-site GPS installation rather than the shipping of retail products. All timelines stated in this Policy are indicative estimates and may vary based on operational conditions.

2. Transportation Service Timelines

Transit times depend on the distance, route, vehicle type, load, traffic, and prevailing conditions. As a general guide:

• Intra-city / local movement: typically same day, within a few hours of pickup, subject to distance and traffic.
• Regional / intra-state (short to medium distance): typically 1–3 days.
• National / interstate (long distance): typically 3–7 days, depending on the origin-destination pair and route.

These ranges are estimates only and are subject to distance, route, weather, road conditions, permits, checkpoints, and regulatory factors. The confirmed timeline for your specific Booking will be communicated at the time of booking.

3. GPS Device Installation Timelines

For GPS/AIS-140 device orders and fleet solutions:

• Scheduling: once your order and payment are confirmed, our team will contact you to schedule installation, typically within 1–3 business days.
• On-site installation: installation is carried out at your vehicle/fleet location by our technicians or authorised partners at the agreed date and time.
• Activation: after installation, the device is configured and activated on our platform, and live tracking is usually available within a few hours of successful activation.

Installation timelines depend on device availability, vehicle accessibility, fleet size, and location.

4. Delivery Responsibilities

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, contact persons, and consignment details
• Ensure goods are properly packed and accompanied by valid documentation (invoice, e-way bill, etc.)
• Make goods available at the confirmed pickup time and arrange authorised personnel to receive them at the destination
• For GPS installation, provide vehicle access and a safe working environment

Company Responsibilities

• Assign a suitable vehicle and verified driver and dispatch as scheduled
• Handle and transport goods with reasonable care
• Provide live tracking and proactive status updates
• Deliver to the confirmed destination and obtain proof of delivery

5. Proof of Delivery

On completion of delivery, we obtain confirmation of receipt at the destination. A digital or physical Proof of Delivery (POD) — which may include the recipient's acknowledgement and delivery timestamp — is recorded and can be shared with you on request for complete transparency.

6. Tracking

For GPS-enabled shipments and fleets, you can monitor vehicle location, route, speed, and status in near real time through our fleet console and mobile application. Tracking accuracy depends on GPS satellite and mobile-network coverage along the route and may be temporarily unavailable in low-coverage areas.

7. Delays & Force Majeure

While we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, delivery may be delayed by factors beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, road closures, weather, natural events, strikes, regulatory checks, or network outages. Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract. We will keep you informed and work to minimise any impact.
